Prodika launches .NET Framework
Prodika launches new platform based on Microsoft's .NET application framework.

Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas - February 14, 2002 — Today Prodika announced the launch of its new .NET application framework. The new Microsoft-based platform featuring Proactive Translation (TM) was introduced last month in a pilot project with one of the world's largest CPG companies. Prodika's new .NET platform is currently in production serving markets in the US, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, and Holland.

According to Randal Burrier, one of Prodika's Senior Developers and technical lead for the .NET rollout, "Microsoft's .NET Framework provides Prodika with an extensible architecture allowing us to respond quickly to changing conditions and our customer's evolving requirements."

Leveraging .NET's support for XML Web Services, Prodika's new application framework allows third-party platforms to interact with a portfolio of product lifecycle information. Initial applications for this technology include finished goods syndication to global electronic marketplaces as well as a variety of new tools designed for vendor/manufacturer qualification and approval.
